Hello everyone!

Here is the latest. We are not going to open a store in the North End of Boston as the silly politics of that neighborhood and the really crazy economy right now make the idea seem an effort in futility. I see it as a wonderful time for me to explore the world a little and move to where fashion has its roots. Sooo, I am going to Italy for a while...then hopefully to Asia. I want to see what individuality in fashion is doing..on the street and in places where the mentality is not so conservative.

Fashion to me was never negative or a chore. Getting dressed was always a high point of my day and creating my "look" and feeling sexy was always a natural part of my life style. It has all become a bit stale here in Boston, and maybe in the US in general. So instead of fighing all the negativity I have decided to wander around and see what might be around the corner.

I have a feeling it is all good. Stay tuned.

Well, store construction is delayed again....very frustrating.

new skirt

I am working on a new collection of skirts that is so tutu like and sexy...I am totally sick of the serious side of fashion right now and I think that all those New Yorkers taking themselves really seriously has motivated me to design a little out of the box.

NYC fashion week Party

I was invited by totalbeauty.com to dress some models for their NYC fashion week opening party. Arena NYC in midtown was the venue ...great party..open bar, music, free manicures, hair stylists and makeup artists were there to make everyone beautiful. The two girls dancing are from Paris and made me give them the dresses because they loved them so much!!! Kibo, next to me is from Sierra Leone and I think she looked amazing in the white....but needed a few martinis to losen up and talk up the collection to all the editors!!

I am so amateur at this I hit the publish button twice. OMG. Anyway, I have been having a fun summer....hung out with some great people in Tanglewood...James Taylor was in concert and brought along a bunch of his friends!! Love that.

Trying to get myself to Italy and lighten the load a little...I love the scent of the airport in Rome...makes me giddy just thinking about going back...George left his Vespa in Florence....so we are going soon to pick up the motorized hair dryer and go for a wee wander. I hear coffee in the piazza is now $10...can't wait!

Rememer everyone, this is a blog and no explanations for anything I do or say unless you ask...otherwise it will read like a tacky advertisement of myself and the only person that could do that well was Norman Mailer.
